it's starting

to snow!!!
sort of can't wait to see how much we get.
the children are already outside.
i guess i should have gone to the grocery store today.

about our tree. chris explained a bit in the comments of the tree post.
it is a blue atlas cedar. it is now 6 to 8 feet tall. it will grow to as much as 30 feet tall.
we will plant this lovely tree in our back yard after christmas passes us by.
i was explaining this to noah. he was a bit happier and asked: "So we get to use it every year for Christmas?"
no, we wont chop it down each year and replant. we'll just continue to plant trees until we have a forest of christmas trees in our backyard.

at least that's my dream.
