lana lu is 7!
yesterday she requested breakfast in bed. i was reluctant. we have to wake up at 6:10 in the morning here in our house. i really didn't want to wake earlier. but, of course, when i told chris her request, he immediately said he could take care of it. good dad.

i noticed as he walked up the stairs he was carrying a plate with a glass of chocolate soy milk and a cupcake. (bad dad.) "but where is my tray and everything?" the spoiled princess asked. extending his arms, with plate in hand, good dad replied- "i am your tray."


what do we love about our 7 year old?
1* she is darling.
2* she is kind
3* she is beautiful
4* she let's me hug and kiss her whenever i want and she hugs and kisses back
5* she is always willing to help
6* she plays with her younger brother

and 7*
she makes us happy

once when she was 6 1/2 she tried to pay her teacher $1 to be her mom. i forgave her.
a new year, a new beginning.
