Join My Circle

So Jayne finally got Noah a real haircut. His hair normally ranges from "long and shaggy" to "Mom, I can't see" though I do admit that it is very cute. So Jayne still wanted him to be stylish and got it cut so she could style it just like Chad from the Alltel commercials (combed and gelled up in the front.)

Noah hates, hates, hates it. The first morning he said that he wanted to stay in his closet until his "circle hair" grew back.

Most days his Mom has to fight with him simultaneously combing it toward the sky while applying enough hair product to keep it there. Then Noah spends the morning batting it down so it ends up in a crazy bird's nest. He hasn't wanted me to take a picture of it and was tring to hide from me when I snapped the shot above. It's been over a week now and he's not giving it up. This boy is stubborn.

And I'm old. I don't even get this hairstyle. There was a kid at the company I used to work for who had this sort of faux-hawk. It just made me want to punch him in the nose whenever I saw him. Old...
