spring happenings with lots of pictures

chris and i are very similar. we sort of fly by the seat of our pants. meaning, we never make any plans in advance. not about the big things. we got those things down. just the little things.
more precise; vacations.
we never plan in advance. maybe a week or two. we do talk about it. but we don't have the tickets bought or the agenda planned. we'll decide to go to the beach and the next day or two we make it happen. or if we feel like it, we'll head on up to arlington for a few days or down to south carolina for a week. that's how we roll. i know it drives some people crazy. sorry.




spring break came on monday and i decided at the last minute to spend it in arlington. we packed up and headed to my parents' house. it was a good last minute decision. we had fun.
it's always a good time when you are with family.
shopping is more fun.
dinner is more fun.
watching tv is more fun.
hanging out is more fun.

taking a very hot day and heading to dc, where all of the other spring breakers are, is more fun.


trying to take pictures of twins is more fun even though we could never get them both happy at the same time.

easter day at grandma's house

eddie was being so kind to his brother right before i took this picture. he had been helping him tuck his shirt in and making sure his tie was straight. made me smile.

easter day right before church. if i say eventually they get to pose silly, then usually they will be patient and take some normal ones.

after church we went to celebrated easter with chris' family. had lots of fun.

got to hang with sarah for two days.
everyone needed a turn.

got to see chris' "old" aunt suzanne for a few days as well. (chris' sister's name is suzanne and his aunt as well. to distinguish between the two, when ceily was little she coined one the "new" suzanne and the other the "old" suzanne.)

got to fish with worms. and pretend to eat worms.

got to see uncle brian. (saw him in dc too. we are lucky like that.)

got to ride tractors.


the easter bunny came. he didn't bring any dyed eggs though. i guess i need to make that happen next year. that's when the last minute planning sort of doesn't work.


oh! and lana got a haircut.
