in honor of my mother, here is a piece of advice that i heard countless times throughout my life. i still hear this piece of advice.
"DO NOT DRIVE INTO ANY LARGE PUDDLES. YOU NEVER KNOW IF IT'S A FLASH FLOOD. YOU WILL BE SWEPT AWAY. CAR AND ALL."
