We had a fun Spring Break. We drove to VA and spent time with family. We celebrated Noah's birthday and played with cousins. Fun was had by all.Or so I thought. It seems Lana was not too impressed with our choices during Spring Break. Returning to school, her teacher asked her class to write about what they did during Spring Break and draw some pictures. Apparently, Lana traveled to Hawaii and swam with Dolphins. 
Yes, it was a fun and exciting time for Lana. She was able to swim with two dolphins and swim and swim in the water. Hawaii was "so fun." That day she showed me her lovely picture of her swimming atop two dolphins.

Every Tuesday morning I get to spend an hour in Lana's classroom and help the children read. This Tuesday I arrived and immediately her teacher asked: "Mrs. Thomas, where did you go for Spring Break?'' I knew exactly where this was going. I rolled my eyes and said: "Not Hawaii." Her teacher was so impressed at how good I had done with the sunscreen because it looked like Lana had not even been in the splendid Hawaiian sun for 10 days! The teacher's assistant was a bit skeptical as Lana also mentioned seeing a classmate in Arkansas. I guess next year for Spring Break we will travel to Hawaii via Arkansas.
