Ok. So, normally, I don't get too many comments. That's ok. It's my family and few friends that read my blog. I usually talk to my family and few friends daily, so, they comment in my ear about how awesome my blogs are. But, sometimes I'll read a random stranger's blog and feel a little bit lacking in the comment department. But I get over it.
Well, I wasn't able to sleep. It's 5:19 in the morning. I have an hour until the babies have to be woken. So of course I go to my blog and of course I log in and WOW! I have 3 comments on one blog. That's pretty cool. Thanks commentors. You made my early morning.
But what has me feeling like a rock star is that one comment was made by a pretty famous person. Howard Dully, the author of the book, MY LOBOTOMY. You can read what I wrote the first time if you scroll down a bit.
Howard, I just have to say you are a brave man. I read your book and like I mentioned, was a bit depressed. It's not a good thing when adults feel the need to harm children. I didn't like that. But I failed to mention, because I was talking about laundry, not lobotomy, that I actually loved reading your book. My husband is now reading your book and I have recommended your book to many others. I hope they go and buy it. I was quite happy to locate your blog. Now I can listen to your NPR broadcast. I'll do it today. NPR HERE.
So, thank you Howard Dully, author of MY LOBOTOMY, for making me feel a bit special this morning, and those who read this post, please check out Howard's book, or even his blog HERE.

Now I'll go make cinnamon rolls for my waking babes.

Your a really nice mom! I want to come live at your house!
jayne - i heard his story on NPR last summer. really interesting. i guess it's good that you've never made any lobotomy jokes on your blog. since you haven't - i will.
"of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most."

Congratulations! Last night I was suffering from a case of comment envy and lamenting over my lack of comments too. That's why I took out the # of comments on my post so it wasn't so obvious how unpopular I am. Anyway, you are getting more famous each day. Way to go! Bye the way, I read your blog every day. Sorry I don't comment more often!
You are a rockstar Jane! I loved your brush with fame. I will now look for this book...I am always looking for a way to get depressed cause I am SO HAPPY ALL DAY.
Jayne,
I have been a lurker on your blog for some time. I enjoy glancing at the happenings in your family (and extended family) every so often. It brings back memories of the "old days" in Arlington.
I decided to come out of the shadows and comment about Howard Dully's book you recommended. I was in the BYU bookstore today and remembered your post about "My Lobotomy" so when I saw it I had to buy it. (not like I have time to read it)... regardless, I am reading it instead of writing a couple of papers, and having a hard time putting it down.
Hope all is well in your world. Ours is a bit crazy these days but good after all.
Scott
