1) That something Ceily drew two years ago is a recent production. This may lead to the perception of serious development delays in my children and we are intent on hiding all such evidence.
2) That we have an art room sweatshop where we force our children to draw/paint/paste until we release them. This isn't true. That's called school and we only make them go to that 10 months out of the year.
Jayne actually has a hard time throwing anything away (given that everything our children create is a work of art) and this is one way of justifying the hoarding. A huge plastic container sits in her closet holding 11 years of art. She has yet to "publish" any of that horde. First she'll use up her stash from under the living room couch. This is Jayne- I am not a horder. I just keep the important stuff.

Thanks for the clarification. I was beginning to feel very inadequate that I wasn't allowing my kids to paint everyday. I love the idea of posting them even if they are old.
To Jayne - I keep all the important stuff too. It's hard to decide what to keep and what to toss. I usually err on the side of keeping and figure time will help to weed out the unimportant.
I love the idea of an art sweatshop. I imagine Lana hunched over a pile of construction paper and paste. :)
